Client: NT Gov DIPL

Completion Date: May 2019

Contract Value: $88,000

Project Scope: Scope of Works was the demolition of existing dwellings in lots 7, 10, 11 and 12. The recyclable materials should be separated for reuse from local community and lots must be prepared for future development. Although the size of the project is small, Kalidonis shown its capabilities and its commitment to local communities. 31% of the budget had been spend directly in Yarralin community or $28,000 (accommodation, tip fees etc). Another 8% had been spend in Katherine, or $7,000, in equipment hiring. Almost 40% of the contract had been spend in Katherine Region. Our demolition team completed the project 30% earlier than the expected. This allowed us to complete variation demolition works for another 2 lots. At the moment, Kalidonis is pricing some extra works in Yarralin.

Kalidonis had an excellent communication with the lot owners. They provided instructions about demolition and their expectations. Kalidonis successfully complied with project requirements and stakeholders’ expectations. The local community was able to be benefited not only from spending in Yarralin, but from the recyclable materials as well. Our team separated and stored recyclable materials and locals took them for their own use.
